Learn the basics of sweater construction, from calculating the perfect fit to seaming your finished sweater. If you’d like to expand your knitting from just hats and scarves this is the class for you. Please note you will not actually complete a project in this class.

Skills Required The ability to knit, purl, increase and decrease.

Skills Learned Taking accurate body measurements, understanding knitting math, pattern reading, gauge, picking up stitches, button holes, sweater construction, seaming

Materials Please have the following materials before class begins:

• Measuring tape
• Calculator
• A notepad
• A pencil with an eraser
• Bring or wear a snug fitting top, as well as the sweater that you feel fits you the best.
